Our Story

Redemption Church is a new church start; we were not planted from another church.

We started on May 5, 2019 in the Hampton Inn Conference room in Hernando, MS.

We began to experience growing pains at the Hampton Inn in the fall of 2019. This included needed space for Life Groups, nursery, preschool and children, and students.

Being a church with a vision, we knew that the conference room was only temporary. And, as a growing church, we needed a larger and more permanent location for Redemption Church to grow.

With a vision for the future, we began to pray for The Lord to show us what to do and provide direction.

Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we were able to move to our new location.

In November of 2019, Fellowship Baptist Church voted to disband and no longer be a church.

After a time of prayer and several meetings, Redemption Church was able to secure the 11 1/2 acres and the building previously owned by Fellowship Baptist Church.

We knew God had answered our prayers as we could see His hand working in giving Redemption Church a permanent home for future growth and the expansion of His Kingdom.

We were and are so excited about our new location.

Since moving to our new location, God has richly blessed us, and we are so very grateful for His continued blessings.
